Goodbye Year – December 31st, 2020

Goodbye Year Holiday Celebration

December 31st is the day I start celebration what I call Goodbye Year. It is a holiday I created to celebrate the departure of the current year, rather than the arrival of the next year. I let go of the negative of the year, and carry forward only the positive and beneficial with me into the new year. I honor and acknowledge my growth and gains, and appreciate the lessons I’ve learned from my experiences, good, bad, and everything in between.

Goodbye Year – Goodbye Year 2020

During Goodbye Year celebration, there is no making “resolutions,” as it is viewed as redundant. A reason for that is because as a day-to-day practice, I already self-reflect, course-correct, and make self-improvements and strive to maintain my peace of mind and maintain/improve my quality of life. The inner motivation to have high quality of life and well-being is already naturally there, and is not influenced by the time of year or the arrival of a new year. The motivation is inspired by my natural inclination  for peace of mind, quality of life, and well-being. I do not view the passage of time as a catalyst for that.

I continue on in my journey in this life, strengthened, wiser, making progress in my Red Sugar Life.

Goodbye Year, 2020.

Be well.

~Luna
